Data Deletion
You are in control of the data Planniz holds. This page explains how to disconnect your social accounts and how to ask us to delete your data, including data we received through Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn or X.
Option 1: Disconnect an account yourself
- Sign in to Planniz Studio.
- Open the channel you want to remove and choose to disable or delete it.
When a channel is removed, Planniz deletes the access tokens we hold for it and stops all access to that account.
Option 2: Revoke Planniz from the social network
- Facebook, Instagram and Threads: open Settings, then "Apps and websites" (or "Business integrations"), find Planniz, and choose Remove. Once access is revoked, Planniz can no longer reach your account.
- LinkedIn: open Settings, then "Data privacy", then "Permitted services", find Planniz, and choose Remove.
- X: open Settings, then "Security and account access", then "Apps and sessions", find Planniz, and choose Revoke access.
Revoking access stops us from publishing or reading data. To also erase the information we already stored, use Option 3.
Option 3: Ask us to delete your data
Email hello@auviel.com with the subject "Planniz data deletion request" from the address used for your Planniz account, and tell us which accounts or content to delete (or "everything"). If you signed up through a social network and cannot use that email, include the account name so we can verify it.
We confirm your request by email and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Planniz account and sign-in details.
- Access tokens and profile details received from connected social networks.
- Posts, drafts, schedules, media and settings stored in Planniz.
What we may keep
Content you already published on a social network stays there and is controlled by that network, so delete it on the network if you want it removed. We may keep limited records where the law requires it or to resolve disputes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
For more on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy.
